DME Releases Fee Structure For MD, MS Admissions 2022 at Kerala GMCs, Details

The Director of Medical Education (DME Kerala) has released the fee structure for PG Medical (MD, MS) courses for the academic year 2022-23 at Government medical colleges.

The detailed fee structure is as follows –

1. Annual tuition Fees - Rs. 55130

2. Annual miscellaneous Fees - Rs.11030

3. Caution deposit (refundable) - Rs.11030 ((For recovery towards loss or breakage of laboratory equipments, books, etc.)

4. University Fees - As applicable

The total amount= 77,180/-(Including annual misc.fee & C.D)

The above fee structure applies only to Government Medical Colleges. The candidates note that the fee structure for the PG Degree seats of self-financing medical colleges will be issued separately before the centralized allotment process. The fee structure of RCC may be referred to the RCC website: https://rcctvm.gov.in. They will have to remit the university fees at the colleges at the time of admission itself.

Tuition Fees as specified in the Allotment Memo shall be remitted at the colleges at the time of admission. Fees remitted in one college will be refunded, forfeited, or transferred to the last station where the candidates fix their allotment through higher options, as the case may be, depending on the phase of the allotment process at which the exit occurs. The fee is remitted as the application fee is not refundable.

Service candidates must also remit all the required fees, whether they apply for service quota or general category seats. The Service candidates shall remit separate fees (other than that remitted for applying for Service quota seats) if they apply for seats other than Service quota seats. Application fees remitted by Service Candidates will not be refunded/reimbursed under any circumstances.

The following candidates are exempted from the payment of the fee -

1. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe communities allotted against merit seats or against the seats reserved for them are exempted from payment of fees.

2. Candidates belonging to Other Eligible Communities (OEC) admitted against merit seats or against Government seats through SEBC/OEC reservation are also exempted from payment of fees.

3. Candidates belonging to the Communities listed in Annexure II whose family income is up to Rupees Six Lakhs (Rs.6.00 Lakhs) are eligible for the educational concession as per GO (Rt) No.2319/2015/H&FWD, dated:21/07/2015. They should upload community and income certificates (for the financial year 2021-22) from the Village Officer in the prescribed format during the online application process.

4. Candidates who are the children of Registered Fishermen allotted against merit seats or any reserved seat (except Minority/NRI quota seats) are exempted from payment of fees.

5. Candidates who are inmates of Sree Chitra Home, Nirbhaya Home & Juvenile Homes, and other institutions run by the Government allotted against Merit Seats or any reserved seat (except Minority/NRI quota seats) are exempted from payment of fees.
