Gujarat NEET PG counselling 2026 round 1 choice filling open- 2,675 MD, MS, Diploma, DNB seats up for grabs
Gujarat: The Admission Committee for Professional Post-Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC), has begun the Round 1 online choice-filling for MD, MS, and Diploma admissions for the academic year 2026-27.
According to the official advertisement, the first-round choice-filling process is open to all eligible candidates whose names are included in the ACPPGMEC merit list. The process covers Government, Management and NRI quota seats in postgraduate medical courses offered by government and self-financed medical colleges across Gujarat.
As per the schedule released by the admission committee, the online choice-filling process began on October 27, 2026, and candidates have until 10:00 am on October 31, 2026, to complete it.
Following the closure of choice filling, the choices submitted by candidates will be displayed on October 31, 2026, at 12:00 noon.
The schedule applies to eligible candidates seeking admission to MD, MS and Diploma courses under the applicable quotas in government and self-financed medical institutions across the state. Below is the detailed schedule-

Along with this, ACPPGMEC Gujarat has released the Round 1 vacancy matrix for postgraduate medical admissions for the academic year 2026-27, along with details of seats earmarked under the 10 per cent in-service reservation for National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) courses.
According to the official documents, the committee has published a vacancy matrix covering 194 MD and MS seats across 17 postgraduate medical specialities, with 29 seats marked under the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) column. Separately, 13 seats have been listed under the in-service reservation for Post-MBBS DNB and Post-MBBS Diploma DNB courses in Gujarat. Below are the detailed vacancies-
