Delhi: Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the date of choice filling for the special mop-up round for NEET SS.

Per the notice, the candidates can do the choice filling until 3:00 pm today (16.2.2023). The choice locking for special mop-up of NEET SS Counseling 2022-23 will start from 1:00 pm on 16.02.2023 and be available up to 03:00 pm on 16.02.2023. The candidates who wish to change their choice filling can use the choice unlocking button.

As per the decision of MoHFW, there will be a reduction in percentile for Super Specialty counseling for the academic year 2022, and all candidates above the 20th percentile will be eligible for SS counseling (for DM/ MCh/ DNB SS Courses) in compliance with the directions of competent authority. Hence, a special mop-up round will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of DGHS in compliance with the schedule directions uploaded on the MCC website.


Candidates not holding any seats in previous rounds (Rounds 1 & 2) are eligible to participate. And those who have already allotted & joined a seat in previous rounds are not eligible to participate. Those allotted seats will have to report at the allotted Institute and join the seat with their original documents. The security deposit of candidates who do not join their allotted seats will be forfeited as per the counseling policy.

The Medical Counselling Committee is an organization under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) affiliated with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, and responsible for allotting seats for undergraduate, postgraduate, and super-specialty medical and dental courses in government-run/aided colleges and deemed-to-be-university colleges. It allows seats online based on the candidate's score in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Factors considered during allotment are merit, reservation eligibility, and the preference list submitted by the candidate.
