MCC withdraws MDS seat of Kerala Dental College Round 2 seat matrix:
New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has informed regarding the withdrawal of the MDS seat from the prosthodontics and crown and bridge (C01) MDS Course.
As a matter of fact, the Medical Counselling Committee has received information from the Dental College about the withdrawal of MDS Seat. The seat was accidentally added by the college in the Seat Matrix. Therefore, MCC of DGHS has withdrawn the following MDS seat:

In view of the foregoing MDS counselling 2021, the above mentioned MDS seat stands withdrawn with immediate effect from the Seat Matrix of Round-2. This seat will be deleted from the database before the allotment process of Round-2.

In compliance with the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme court of India in I.A. no. 16/2021 in C.A. no. 1944 of 1993 DGHS was entrusted to conduct online counselling at the All India level in the year 2012. Accordingly, MCC was constituted with the approval of the then Secretary, MoHFW, GOI vide Office order dated 13.02.2012. The Roles and responsibilities of MCC are Maintenance of the official website of MCC, DGHS, Finalisation of counselling procedure & schedule, Coordination with the concerned agencies for counselling against State/UT quota seats, Matters including court cases transferred to MCC. Any other task(s) related to counselling & allocation of seats against AIQ, etc. Finalisation of counselling centers & making necessary arrangements at the Counsellingcenters, if applicable. Fixation of Counsellingfees & deposits, if any. Distribution & collection of form. Work relating to the audit of funds to be placed under its disposal.
