NEET PG 2024: NBE notifies on Counselling and Reservation for candidates
New Delhi- The National Board of Examination (NBE) recently invited applications for NEET PG 2024 for admission to various MD, MS, PG Diploma Courses, Post MBBS DNB Courses, Post MBBS Direct 6-year DrNB courses and NBEMS diploma courses this year. On this, NBE has released the Information Bulletin of NEET PG 2024 describing the Counselling and Reservation details for the candidates.
The registration process for NEET PG 2024 has already been started from 16th April 2024 at 3 PM and will be valid till 6th May 2024 at 11:55 PM. The exam will be conducted on the computer-based platform at various examination centres across the country on June 23, 2024, and the result will be declared by July 15, 2024.
COUNSELLING AND RESERVATION
Reservation of PG Medical seats shall be as per the norms of the Government of India and respective State Governments as may be applicable
The OCI cardholders will now be eligible for the rights which were provided to them earlier to the impugned. They will be treated at par with Indian citizens and will be eligible for UR (General) category seats as well as NRI seats for counselling conducted by MCC.
NRI Candidates will be eligible for both NRI Seats and Indian National seats as per their merit.
Further, candidates claiming to be NRI, OCI, PIO will not be eligible for reservation under SC/ST/OBC/EWS and will be treated as Unreserved only.
OBC - NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) as per the Central list of OBC alone are eligible to claim OBC reservation in the counselling to be conducted by MCC of DGHS including all India 50% quota seats counselling. All OBC applicants for NEET-PG are accordingly advised to indicate their category as OBC in the application form only if their caste belongs to the Central list of OBCs and they fall under the non-creamy layer.
However, a separate handbook will be issued later by the designated Counseling Authority, MCC for NEET-PG 2024 giving details of the counselling process and applicable reservations.

HOW TO FILL ONLINE NEET PG 2024 APPLICATION FORM
The following sequence shall be observed while filing the online application form:
1 Fill out the user registration form to generate the User ID/Application ID and Password.
2 User ID and Password will be sent through SMS and Email.
3 Complete the application form and upload your Photograph, Scanned signature, Thumb impression & Prescribed documents.
4 Choose your Test City and pay the Examination Fee.
5 Agree to the declaration and Submit the Application.
6 Take a printout of the filled Application form with Transaction ID printed on it and payment status mentioned as “S” (Successful) for records.

The prescribed exam fee should be remitted through a payment gateway provided using a Credit Card or a Debit Card issued by banks in India or other modes as may be made available and have been provided on the web page.
