NTRUHS invites applications for PG medical admissions 2025, check complete details here
Andhra Pradesh- Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) is inviting online application forms from the eligible candidates for admissions into Post Graduate Medical Degree/Diploma courses in Government and un-aided Private Non Minority and Minority Medical Colleges under Competent Authority Quota seats for the academic year 2025-26 in the colleges affiliated to Dr NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh and Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), Tirupati.
As per the notification issued by the Dr NTRUHS in this regard, the online Application forms (without Late fee) are available from today, i.e. 19th September 2025, 11:00 AM to 25 September 2025, 11:00 PM. However, the date for the online Application forms (with a Late fee) will be notified later.
ELIGIBILITY
1 Candidates should have passed MBBS from a recognised Medical College / University.
2 Any candidate who has obtained his / her undergraduate medical / qualification from medical Colleges outside India should have qualified in the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE - Screening Test), which is conducted by the National Board of Examinations (Document mandatorily to be produced). Further, they should have been registered with MCI and should have completed their internship or are likely to complete their internship on or before 31-07-2025 for MD/MS.
3 Candidates should have completed an internship latest by 31-07-2025.
4 The candidates should secure the following cutoff percentiles in the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 for Post Graduate Medical Degree/Diploma courses-

All the selected candidates shall pay the Non-Refundable University Fee of Rs 23,600/-.
TUITION FEE
Tuition fee structure in Private Unaided Professional Medical Colleges of AP for the current academic year 2025-26 will be as decided by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.

CERTIFICATES REQUIRED BEFORE FILLING THE APPLICATION FORM ONLINE
The following Certificates are required to complete the application process. The certificates are to be scanned and kept ready to upload. The application fee has to be paid online.
1 NEET PG - 2025 – SCORE CARD.
2 Date of Birth Certificate (SSC Marks Memo).
3 Original MBBS Degree (or) Provisional MBBS pass Certificate.
4 MBBS study certificate.
5 Compulsory Rotatory Internship certificate.
6 Copies of Temporary / Permanent Medical Council Registration from the respective State Medical Council. Foreign Graduates (FMGs) have to upload the Permanent Medical Council Registration.
7 If the candidate passed MBBS from Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada, he/she has to submit study certificates from 6th to Intermediate / 10+2.
8 Latest Permanent caste certificate if applicable (issued by the Competent Authority of the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh only).
9 Minority Certificate, if applicable (issued by the Minority Welfare Department of Andhra Pradesh only).
10 Photo Identity card having the current residential address of the candidate (Aadhar Card).
11 Differently abled Certificate issued by the Competent Authority as specified in the Regulations in case of PwBD (for Persons with disability).
12 MBBS transfer certificate/Migration Certificate.
13 Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE - Screening Test Result).
14 Candidate’s Latest passport-size Photo.
15 Specimen Signature of the Candidate.
INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES ON COUNSELLING PROCEDURE
There will be four Rounds of counselling, i.e., Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3 (Mop-up) and Stray Round.
PHASE 1
1 Seat Matrix will be displayed on the University Website for the information of the students before exercising their Web options. All the eligible candidates present in the Merit list are eligible to opt for Phase I.
2 As per the year 2024-25 Notifications for Stray/Special Stray rounds of CQ/MQ counselling, candidates who participated in Stray/Special Stray rounds of CQ/MQ counselling conducted for the year 2024-25 and allotted seats but not reported/joined are debarred for admissions into CQ/MQ counselling for the year 2025-26 (List of debarred candidates displayed on the University website).
3 The candidates who have discontinued the course from the academic year 2022-23, irrespective of their admission batch, will be debarred for this academic year, i.e., 2025-26 (List of debarred candidates displayed on the University website).
4 Candidates are informed that there is no limit of choices (number) for exercising web options. Candidates can exercise any number of options for any number of specialities and colleges available.
5 Candidates are instructed to be careful while exercising options on the Web and take a printout of the saved options. Candidates are advised to exercise options in Courses and colleges in which they are genuinely interested. If they are not interested in joining any speciality or college, then they are advised not to exercise options for the same.
6 The selected candidates can download the provisional allotment order on payment of the University Fee of Rs 23,600/- through the payment gateway and report to the Principal of the Allotted College on or before the date specified in the allotment letter. University fees once paid are not refundable under any circumstances.
7 The selected candidates shall produce all the Original certificates, pay the Tuition fee, necessary bonds, etc., and complete the process of admission. If the candidate does not fulfil the criteria as per regulations to complete the admission process within the specified dates of admission, their admission will be cancelled automatically.
8 The verification of original certificates will be conducted at the time of admission in the respective College and in case of any discrepancy, the Provisional allotment will be cancelled and action will be initiated. If the candidate slides to another college (i.e., affiliated colleges of Dr NTR UHS) during subsequent Phases of counselling, the tuition fee will be sent to the slid college by the concerned college where the amount is held.
9 If a candidate of Phase-I counselling has not joined/reported in the allotted seat, then that particular seat shall not be available for that candidate to exercise web options in Phase-II and all further phases of counselling in order to prevent the blocking of seats.
10 The joined candidates of Phase-I Counselling are eligible for upgradation up to Phase-III (Mop Up) round only.
PHASE 2
1 Procedure for exercising web options as explained at Phase-I counselling.
2 Candidates getting upgraded in Phase II shall NOT have any claim on the Phase I seat.
3 Candidates who have reported the allotted seat of Phase-I and/or Phase-II can opt for free exit as per the schedule, which will be notified.
4 All the candidates who have been allotted a seat in Phase-I and reported.
5 All candidates who have been allotted a seat in Phase-I but have not reported at the allotted colleges and candidates who availed FREE EXIT from Phase-I.
PHASE 3
1 Procedure for exercising web options as explained at Phase-I counselling.
2 The Competent Authority has decided to collect a Refundable Security Deposit Amount of ₹.50,000/- through online mode from the candidates who wish to participate in Phase-III (Mop Up) and subsequent Phases of Counselling to avoid seat blocking. Other details will be notified in the Web Option notification of that Phase.
3 All the candidates who have not been allotted any seat in Phase-I/Phase-II counselling.
4 Candidates getting upgraded in Phase-III Shall NOT have any claim on Phase-I/Phase-II seat of CQ & MQ
5 The joined candidates who are holding a seat in Phase-I or Phase-II or Phase-III(Mop Up) Counselling are not eligible for Stray or any further rounds.
STRAY VACANCY COUNSELLING
1 Fresh registrations and fresh choice filling for the Final Stray Vacancy Round. The choices filled during earlier phases will not be considered for allotment in the Stray Vacancy Round. Candidates whose names are already present in the Merit list and do not hold any seat are also eligible for the Stray vacancy, provided they satisfy the eligibility conditions of the Stray vacancy round and hence they need not apply again for the Stray vacancy notification.
2 For freshly registered candidates, the Competent Authority has decided to collect a Refundable Security Deposit Amount of ₹.50,000/- through online mode to avoid seat blocking. Other details will be notified in the Web Option notification of that Phase.
3 The choices filled during Phase-III(Mop Up) will not be considered for allotment in the Stray Vacancy Round.
4 All the available vacancies are treated as “Unreserved Open General seats”. All the candidates are eligible for all the seats as per Merit.
