Patna: An anonymous email claiming that a first-year female MBBS student was being ragged at the hostel premises of Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH), Patna, created brief unrest on campus.
However, after an immediate inquiry, the college’s anti-ragging committee found the allegations to be false.
The email was received by the institution in its official inbox on Wednesday. The letter addressed to the principal and hostel warden stated that a first-year student was being harassed and ragged inside the girls’ hostel.
