During this event, members of the Brahmin community from across the state warmly welcomed the Chief Minister for naming the medical college and hospital after Bhagwan Parshuram. Chief Minister expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Panchayat and the people of Sampan Khedi village for providing 20 acres of land for the establishment of the college and hospital.

He said that not only Haryana but also the neighboring states will also be benefited. It's worth noting that the construction of this college was initially announced during the Brahmin Mahakumbh held on December 11, 2022 in Karnal.

He stated that preceding regimes had established six medical colleges before 2014, providing a total of 700 MBBS seats. But now in the year 2023, there are 15 medical colleges in the state and 2185 MBBS seats. Looking ahead, plans are underway to establish eight additional medical colleges, including in Fatehabad, Sirsa, Charkhi Dadri and Palwal. Over the next three to four years, the number of MBBS seats is expected to reach 3,500, he added.

In addition to these healthcare initiatives, the state government is also actively setting up Nursing Colleges and Paramedical Colleges. The Chief Minister said that the government's commitment extends beyond infrastructure development. The government is dedicated to promoting public health awareness, with the construction of gyms and wellness centers in every village. These wellness centers will not only offer Ayurvedic services but also have dieticians who will educate the public about healthy lifestyles and dietary choices.

During the event, MLA Sh Leela Ram conveyed his appreciation to the Chief Minister for giving Bhagwan Parshuram Government Medical College and Hospital, costing at Rs 950 crore, and four additional projects worth Rs 17 crore to Kaithal. He said that the Chief Minister's actions and words were aligned, showcasing the commitment to the region's development.
