World Heart Day observed at Tanda Medical College

Kangra: World Heart Day 2022 was observed by the Department of Cardiology of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Tanda on Thursday.

Dr Mukul Bhatnagar, Head of the Department of Cardiology, told UNI that medical and nursing students of the college and the faculty members participated in the programme.

Issues related with the heart ailments and recent deaths with cardiac arrests at very young age too were discussed.

Dr. Mukul Bhatnagar further said that various competitions were organized on this occasion.

He said that Poster Making, Rangoli and Debate Competition were part of the World Heart Day today in which the students of Nursing College took part enthusiastically.

Dr. Bhanu Awasthi, Principal of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Tanda felicitated the winning participants.
