MUHS wants to use technology in various aspects of medical education and healthcare services. Through technology, the university wants to live demonstrate critical surgeries to its students, seek expert advice during operation, digital tools to convert speech into text having multilanguage support, etc.

MUHS VC, Lt Gen Dr Madhuri Kanitkar (Retd) said, "MUHS is on a pathway of a new vision and new vistas. In this regard, we are happy to collaborate with Microsoft using mixed reality to reach the unreached. We stand by our commitments towards Digital Health as a way forward aligning with the nation's Digital India policy," as quoted by Times Now.

Microsoft set up its India operations in 1990 and offers its global cloud services from local data centers to accelerate digital transformation across Indian start-ups, businesses, and government agencies. The primary mission is to enable every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.
