PG Medical Admissions 2021: BFUHS asks Punjab Civil Medical Service candidates to submit NOC by today, Details
Faridkot: Through a recent notice, the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has notified that the Punjab Civil Medical Service (PCMS) candidates who have registered for admission to PG Medical courses but did not submit NOC issued by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government. Of Punjab will have to submit on the No Objection Certificate (NOC) till 10th January 2022.
Baba Farid University of Health Sciences is a State University located in Faridkot, Punjab, and was established under an Act passed by the Legislature of the State of Punjab in July 1998. It offers many medical courses through its undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. Apart from major medical courses like MBBS, MD, MS, BFUHS also offers nursing & pharmacy courses, certificate courses, and physiotherapy courses. At present, the University has 146 affiliated colleges comprising of 139 affiliated and 7 constituent Colleges.
The recent notification issued on the official website of the university clearly mentions that PCMS candidates can submit the NOC only through email and can mail at pgadmissionsbfuhs@gmail.com. The candidates can log in to the website on 11th January 2022 to check the revised provisional merit list.
Candidates need to appear in the entrance exam conducted by the university or through national-level medical entrance examinations like NEET-UG and NEET-PG for admission to medical courses. As per the recent notification by the university candidates who have appeared for PG NEET 2021 exam are eligible for admission. Candidates with a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination are eligible for admission. The selection will be done on the basis of the PG NEET exam and counseling sessions.
