Assam doctor dies, 2 others injured after car falls into ditch

Guwahati: In an unfortunate incident, a senior doctor working at the Baithalangso Primary Health Centre was killed after the car he was travelling in plunged into a ditch, causing severe injuries to two other individuals.

While the senior doctor died, two other survivors are currently undergoing treatment and doctors are closely monitoring their condition. 

The deceased has been identified as Dr Cliff Pator, who was in charge of the Baithalangso Primary Health Centre and a resident of Dongkamukam, West Karbi Anglong district of Assam. The survivors include a doctor named Dr Mukrang Terang and health worker Edward Bay.

As per Hub News report, the incident occurred in Baithalangso, West Karbi Anglong when the car they were travelling lost control and plunged into the ditch tragically taking the doctor's life. He is survived by his wife and two kids.

The local community is mourning the loss of Dr Pator, who was deeply respected for his dedication to addressing the healthcare needs of the people.
