Ayurveda doctor murder in Ghaziabad: Two sharpshooters arrested, prime suspect still at large
Ghaziabad: Two men were arrested by the Muradnagar Police on Thursday in connection with the alleged murder of an Ayurveda doctor inside his clinic on February 11 in Ghaziabad's Muradnagar town.
Muradnagar Police on Thursday arrested two men in connection with the murder of an ayurvedic doctor.
The victim, was allegedly killed on February 11 at his clinic by Owais, who was helped in it by Mohammad Uvesh, police said. Both accused are from Meerut city.

Medical Dialogues team had earlier reported about the incident, that a 40-year-old Ayurveda doctor had been shot dead inside his clinic by unknown miscreants in Ghaziabad's Muradnagar town. A doctor succumbed to his injuries after being shot by unknown miscreants while attending to patients at his clinic.
During interrogation, Owais confessed that he shot dead the doctor while his accomplice Mohammad Uvesh drove him to the clinic on a red colour scooter, police said.
The key players behind the murder – Haji Adnan, Haji Waseem, and five others – are still at large, they said.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Ravi Kumar said the accused were arrested from the Patla-Niwari-Ganga Canal Bridge trisection.
One pistol, one live cartridge, and a scooter used in the crime have been recovered from the accused.
Owais told the police that he had been contracted to kill the doctor for Rs 2 lakh. He was paid Rs 50,000 in advance and also a pistol by Haji Waseem.
As per a recent media report, TOI reports that according to police, the prime suspect in the case is Mohammad Adnan, whose wife is the cousin of the deceased. Police investigation revealed that a few months ago, Adnan had fought with his wife after which she went to live at the doctor’s house.
Following this, Adnan accused the doctor of marital discord and allegedly hired sharpshooters to kill him.
Adnan, the mastermind of the killing, had bad blood with the doctor because of his interference in his family matters, said police.
