Speaking to Medical Dialogues on her appointment, Dr Munisha Agarwal said, “It is a great honour to be appointed to this position. It comes a big responsibility, and I will do my best to fulfill it. The role does bring challenges, but I am confident that with the support and guidance of my colleagues and the medical fraternity, I will be able to manage them effectively. MAMC is one of the finest medical institutes in the country. We are the nodal centre for advanced medical education training in the north zone of India. My focus will be on bringing in the latest educational tools and ensuring that more modalities of teaching and training are brought to the MAMC campus.
"I am aware that there may be obstacles in the undergraduate to postgraduate training, but such hurdles should never deter us from our larger mission of serving the community. Nothing gives greater satisfaction than being a doctor and healing patients. To me, being a doctor is the greatest opportunity to serve people and contribute to society," she added.
