It has been reported that the doctor was struggling with depression. However, the reason behind her sudden extreme step is unclear and is currently under police investigation.
As per police sources, she had reportedly shared a message in her friends' WhatsApp group before her death, indicating that she was planning to end her life. It is also said that she posted the same message on her WhatsApp status.
The deceased was a native of Nadukkaavil, Valanchery, who worked in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) department of Manjeri Medical College Hospital.
According to a media report by News 4 media, she was on duty until the afternoon and seemed normal. Her body was later found in her bedroom at a flat in Vayapparampadi, Manjeri, around 5 PM. She was immediately rushed to the hospital, but doctors declared her brought dead.
Following this, police conducted a preliminary investigation and found the WhatsApp message. However, no suicide note was recovered from the scene. Her friends and colleagues mentioned that she had been going through mental stress in recent days.
Police have registered a case and started an investigation to find out the exact reason behind the death. The body has been sent for post-mortem.

The third is a 26-year-old first-year postgraduate student from the Department of Anatomy at Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Government Institute of Medical Science and Research (VCSGGMC), Srinagar, Uttarakhand. The fourth case involves a second-year postgraduate trainee from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College and Hospital (FAAMCH), Barpeta.
