Govt doctor caught roaming naked inside Maharashtra Hospital, probe on
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A disturbing incident has come to light in a viral video circulating on social media where a 45-year-old doctor at a government-run hospital in Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district could be seen roaming inside the hospital corridors completely naked.
The video footage captured the doctor's peculiar behaviour as he wandered unclothed through the corridor of Bidkin Rural Government Hospital, waving a cloth before entering the washroom whose door remained open.
Meanwhile, various claims emerged regarding his behaviour, with some media reports suggesting that he may have been using drugs, while others suggest that he was under the influence of alcohol when his obscene actions were caught on CCTV of the hospital.
According to the News Nine reports, the shocking state of the doctor terrified the head nurse who screamed after spotting him in a naked state. Other patients felt embarrassed and covered their eyes in shame when the doctor moved towards the toilet naked, reports The Daily.
However, the doctor in the video could be seen not being bothered about the surroundings of the hospital and continued his unnatural and questionable act. The video went viral after a person from the hospital recorded the CCTV footage and leaked it on social media.
After this video caught the attention of Civil Surgeon Dr Dayanand Motipavle, Head of Health Services in the district, he promptly initiated an investigation into the matter. He said that the incident had been reported to the medical superintendent and strict action would be taken against the doctor if found guilty.
“The CCTV footage of the incident was being examined. If the allegations against the doctor are proven, he will be punished,” he added.
As per The Daily, the doctor used to consume drugs and liquor while being on duty in the hospital. Several nurses have officially filed a complaint against the accused doctor.
However, it is unknown why the doctor was behaving obscenely and an inquiry is underway to determine his actions.
