Rewa: A heated altercation erupted on a city road between a cardiologist working at Rewa Medical College and Super Speciality Hospital and his wife, with a video of the incident now rapidly going viral on social media.

According to a report by LatestLY, the cardiologist, who also runs a prominent nursing home in the city, was allegedly confronted by his wife, a practising dentist, who suspected him of his recent activities. On Wednesday, she reportedly followed his car and stopped it in the middle of the road and allegedly assaulted both the doctor and the woman who was accompanying him.

The wife reportedly found him seated with a female companion, which led to a confrontation. Videos circulating on social media show a tense exchange, during which the wife is allegedly seen pulling the woman out of the car while a crowd gathered around. The cardiologist was seen trying to manage the situation as onlookers filmed the entire episode.

LatestLY further reported that while the incident has rapidly spread across digital platforms, it has also sparked conversations in Rewa about professional boundaries, personal conduct, and the growing tendency for private disputes to become public spectacles, especially when doctors are involved. For the medical fraternity, the episode underlines how personal matters, when played out in public, can quickly affect professional reputation and public trust.

Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that after a navigation error led to a minor traffic violation, a woman doctor alleged that the situation escalated unnecessarily when the station house officer responded aggressively, allegedly using abusive language and displaying his firearm, instead of handling the situation in a composed manner.
