Dinesh Gundu Rao Inaugurates 100-bed Hospital in Bagalkot
Bagalkot: In a recent move to enhance healthcare services, Health and Family Welfare Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao inaugurated the 100-bed state-of-the-art Aski Super Speciality Hospital and Research Centre in Bagalkot on Tuesday. The new facility is set to provide cutting-edge medical care, incorporating modern technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) to deliver superior healthcare services to the residents of Bagalkot and surrounding areas.
The Minister stated that it was a commendable initiative, one that would inspire many and benefit people in rural areas. He also emphasized the need for a government medical college in the district, adding that Bagalkot was emerging as a medical hub.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including former IT-BT minister S R Patil, who remarked on the district’s growing prominence in the healthcare sector. He stated that if there was one district in North Karnataka that excels in healthcare, it was Bagalkot, highlighting that the district is home to excellent doctors.
Shivalingeshwar Mahaswamiji of Charantimath also expressed his hopes for the hospital stating that it would provide much-needed relief to people in the region. He also mentioned that this world-class facility offers comprehensive healthcare services.
According to TNIE, Founder and CMO, of Aski Hospital, Dr Preeti Aski said the facility, once fully operational, is expected to generate 450 high-tech job opportunities for the people of North Karnataka.
