Alembic Pharma Appoints Ex-Cipla, Sun Pharma Veteran Ramesh Juneja as EVP for India Business

New Delhi: Alembic Pharmaceuticals has recently announced the appointment of Ramesh Juneja as Executive Vice President, Human Health (Sales and Marketing), for its India business.

Juneja brings over three decades of distinguished experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing, having successfully led large businesses across both acute and chronic therapy segments.

Over the course of his career, Juneja has held several key leadership positions at leading pharmaceutical organizations including Sun Pharmaceutical Industries and Cipla, where he was instrumental in driving business growth, market expansion, commercial execution, and building high performing teams across multiple therapy areas. During his tenure, he led large-scale sales and marketing functions and helped enhance organizational capabilities in highly competitive markets.

Prior to joining Alembic, Juneja founded the Ramesh Juneja Business Advisory and co-founded BJW Health Pvt. Ltd. He also served as Senior Vice President at Reliance Retail, where he led the panIndia launch of Netmeds B2B business and Netmeds Express stores.

Juneja is a pharmacy graduate from Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University and holds an MBA from Symbiosis International University. He also has completed his Executive Development Programs at the Indian School of Business and the National University of Singapore.
