Odisha Pediatrician Shot while attending to patient, critical

Odisha: In a shocking incident, a local pediatrician was shot at by an unidentified miscreants, later attacking the druggist attached to the clinic when he tried to intervene. While the doctor is still fighting for his life, the druggist- a medicine shot owner has unfortunately succumbed to his injuries
The incident took place yesterday in Khurda district of Odisha where two offenders fired on a Pediatrician, Dr Manas Ranjan Das and a medicine shop owner -Krushna Chandra Sahoo inside a health clinic.
The doctor was examining the pediatric patient when the incident happened on Sunday evening. According to the recent media reports, two masked men entered the clinic with the weapon in hand and fired two bullets at the doctor. When the medicine shop owner arrived at the site after hearing the screams and noise of the people, accused shot him too. There were around 15 patients that were present in the clinic at the time of the incident.
