Round 2 PG medical counselling: CENTAC releases info for Minority quota candidates
Puducherry: Through recent notifications, the Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) has released important information for candidates under minority quota who are seeking admissions to PG medical and dental courses in the Puducherry based medical colleges.
Unfilled PG Medical/Dental Minority Quota seats after Second Round will be converted into management quota seats. Willing candidates can Submit/Update their preferences after payment of registration fee of Rs 2 Lakhs.
The notice states, "As per the directions of the Health Secretariat, the unfilled minority Quota seats during the second round of counselling need to be filled up as open merit management quota seats based on the merit list on the All India basis. There has been a request to convert these seats after exhausting minority quota students in the second round itself as the allotment is done using a computerised module."
