Rajshree Medical College MBBS student feared drowned
Bareilly: A 20-year-old MBBS student is reportedly feared drowned in the Bahgul river in Bareilly. The incident took place during a weekend when the said student went out with his 9 other freints, all are MBBS students from Rajshree Medical College.
Speaking to PTI about the incident, the police officials have informed that a 20-year-old MBBS student was feared drowned in the Bahgul river "The incident took place around 7 pm on Saturday, when a group of 10 MBBS students from Rajshree Medical College had gone for a walk near the river."
Four of them entered the water to bathe. While two students who knew how to swim managed to return to the bank safely, two others slipped into deep water," the police further added.

Station House Officer (SHO) of Fatehganj West Police Station, Pradeep Kumar Chaturvedi, said villagers were able to rescue one of the students, identified as Aaradhya Mishra (21), a native of Gorakhpur.
However, the other student, Shanidev (20), a first-year MBBS student from Mahendragarh in Haryana, was swept away.
“The spot where the student drowned is believed to be 18 to 20 feet deep,” Chaturvedi said, adding search operations resumed on Sunday morning to trace the student.

Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that an MBBS student, drowned while bathing in a canal in Salekasa tehsil recently. The incident occurred near Limbatola village in the Pujaritola dam canal, a popular yet risky spot during the summer.
The medico Pratik Daulat Bisen reportedly swept away by a sudden strong current while bathing. The police officials informed PTI, "Two young men including a medical student drowned while bathing in a canal in Salekasa tehsil of the district on Friday. The incident took place around 12 noon in the Pujaritola dam canal near Limbatola village. The deceased were identified as Prashant Narendra Patle (21) and Pratik Daulat Bisen (21), both residents of Gorre village. Pratik Bisen was an MBBS student."
