Indira Gandhi Medical College opens model treatment centre for Hepatitis C
Shimla: Premier health institution Indira Gandhi Medical College opened a model treatment centre for Hepatitis-C.

Senior Medical Superintendent of IGMC Dr Janak Raj said that the centre is opened on the direction of Himachal Pradesh Health Minister Vipin Singh Parmar which would work under National Health Mission.

Under this centre, all the medical examinations and treatment would be free and all the medicines of Hep-C was made available in the centre. The Infection caused by Hep-C virus required Rs one Lakh for the treatment
