KNRUHS invites applications for NEET MDS counselling 2026, registrations open till August 25, check cutoff, admission details

Telangana: The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) is inviting online applications from NEET MDS 2026 qualified candidates for admission into MDS courses for the academic year 2026-27 under the Competent Authority Quota into Dental Colleges affiliated to KNRUHS, including Army College of Dental Sciences in the State of Telangana.

In this regard, KNRUHS has issued a notification for online registration for web-based counselling to determine State Merit position for admission into Competent Authority Quota (CQ) seats only. The provisional final merit list will be notified after scrutiny of all certificates uploaded at the time of online registration.

Total number of seats available under Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2026-27 will be notified on the KNRUHS website before exercising web options for counselling.

According to the notification, the registration window will be open till 6:00 PM on August 25, 2026. Candidates should have secured the following cutoff score or above in NEET-MDS-2026.

ELIGIBILITY

1 Candidate should have qualified in NEET-MDS-2026 by securing marks of the cut-off score or above, as displayed above.

2 Candidate should have passed BDS/Equivalent Degree examination from a Dental Institution in Telangana recognised by the National Dental Commission/ Dental Council of India.

3 Candidates who hold a recognised Dental Degree should have obtained Permanent Registration from National Dental Commission/Dental Council of India/State Dental Council after completing compulsory rotating internship.

4 The rules for admission into MDS courses under Competent Authority Quota have been issued by Government vide G.O.Ms. No. 27, HM&FW, C1, Dept., Dated: 10-04-2017, subsequent amendments and G.O.Ms.No. 62, HM&FW, C1, Dept., dated 27-07-2024 and G.O.Rt. No. 439 HM&FW (C1) dated 03-08-2024, G.O.Ms.No. 10, Scheduled Castes Development (POA.A2) Department, dated 14.04.2025.

These rules are strictly applicable to the entire admission procedure (eligibility criteria, seat matrix, reservations, selection procedure, etc.). Relevant Hon’ble Supreme Court and Hon’ble High Court orders will be followed.

5 BDS Graduates should have completed internship on or before 31.05.2026.

6 In case of In-service candidates, Government service rendered shall be calculated as on 31-05-2026.

7 The Candidate should be an Indian National, a person of Indian Origin/Overseas Citizen of India card holder and shall fulfil the following provisions-

i If the candidate has studied in Educational Institutions in such local area for a period of not less than four consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he appeared or as the case may be, first appeared in the relevant qualifying examination.

ii Local area herein means the State of Telangana.

8 Eligibility of candidates for admission into MDS courses for the academic year 2026-27 will be examined by the University only after scrutiny of application along with all copies of required certificates and the provisional final merit list will be notified.

REGISTRATION AND PROCESSING FEE

The Registration and processing fee of Rs.7,000/- (Bank transaction charges extra) is for OC & BC candidates and Rs.5,500/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for SC/ST candidates. The fee shall be paid online through Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking. Registration and processing fee, once paid, will not be refunded or adjusted to a later date.

Registration along with uploading of Scanned Original certificates will be done only once, irrespective of the number of times of exercising web options / Number of counselling sessions.

No separate notification will be issued for verification of original certificates. Therefore, the candidates should register and upload all the mandatory certificates without fail.

PROCEDURE FOR ONLINE APPLICATION, SCANNING/UPLOADING OF ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES AND ONLINE PAYMENT FOR REGISTRATION

1 The registration and processing fee can be paid through Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking.

2 The registration and processing fee paid by the applicants is not refundable under any circumstances.

3 Submit all the documents.

4 Visit the website through a computer with an Internet connection to fill the application form.

5 Fill in all the details in the online application form and upload all the mandatory documents.

6 The candidate should submit the printout of the filled-in Online application form and original certificates along with (1) set of self-attested copies to the Principal of the allotted college at the time of admission for final verification. In case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment order will be cancelled.

DOCUMENTS

The following documents are required-

1 Passport-size photo.

2 Admit Card and Rank Card NEET–MDS 2026.

3 Original / Provisional Degree Certificate.

4 Study Certificate(s) from 1st BDS to Final BDS.

5 Latest Category Certificate in case of BC/SC/ST candidates issued by the Competent Authority of Government of Telangana (If applicable).

6 Latest Service Certificate issued by the concerned Head of the Department, if applicable (issued after 31-05-2026 by DME/DH/Director ESI/ Commissioner VVP/ MD Singareni Collieries and other Competent Authority as notified by Government).

7 Internship Completion Certificate/ to be completed by 31.05.2026.

8 Permanent Dental Council Registration Certificate.

9 Photo Identity proof (Aadhaar).

Meanwhile, it is to be noted that the tuition fee for the academic year 2026–27 shall be as per the Orders to be issued by the Government of Telangana. Also, the provisional final merit position of the applied candidates will be prepared based on NEETMDS–2026 Rank and other eligibility criteria notified hereunder.

The mere fact that the Merit position is issued to the candidate does not imply that the candidature is accepted by the University and it does not mean that the entries made by the candidate in the online application are accepted as true and correct.

Candidates are advised to check their eligibility to apply for determining the Merit position in respective categories by using NEET-MDS-2026 Rank by reading Prospectus /Regulations carefully.

Scrutiny of uploaded Original Certificates shall be done by the University and concerned departmental officials. After scrutiny of application and certificates final merit list will be released.
