MBBS, BDS Admissions in Punjab: Here is the fee structure at BFUHS medical, dental colleges this year
Faridkot: The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has released the fee structure of MBBS and BDS courses for this academic year at medical and dental colleges affiliated with the university in the state of Punjab.
The tuition fees released is for a six-month period for colleges under BFUHS in the state of Punjab for MBBS course.
Fees for colleges affiliated BFUHS under government quota is INR 87000 , which encompasses Govt. Medical College Amritsar, Govt Medical College Patiala , Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and DR B.R Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences.

There are also certain colleges that are taking admission under both government and minority quotas. The fees for the Government and minority quota are INR 20300 and INR 521000 respectively. These colleges include Dayanand Medical College & Hospital Ludhiana, Gian Sagar Medical College & Hospital, Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences and Adesh Institute of Medical Sciences and & Research.
There are certain educational institutions that maintain uniform fee structures for both government-designated and management-designated admission quotas. These include Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical Science & Research, where the fee stands at INR 5,21,000, and Christian Medical College, which charges INR 3,30,000 for both categories of admissions.
Similarly, the fee structure has been unveiled for Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) courses offered by colleges affiliated with the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS). Notably, Government Dental College Amritsar and Government Dental College Patiala have established a fee of INR 40,000 for the BDS course under the government quota.

Conversely, several colleges have adopted a dual admission framework, accepting candidates from both the government and minority quotas. For the government quota, the tuition fee stands at INR 82,500, while for the minority quota, it is INR 110,000. These institutions encompass Dasmesh Institute of Research & Dental Sciences, Desh Bhagat Dental College, National Dental College, Adesh Institute of Dental Sciences and Research, Baba Jaswant Dental College Hospital & Research Institute, Genesis Institute of Dental Sciences and Research, Gian Sagar Dental College and Hospital, Guru Nanak Dev Dental College & Research Institute, Luxmi Bai Institute of Dental Sciences & Hospital, National Dental College, Rayat Bahara Dental College, Shaheed Karttar Singh Sarabha Dental College, Sri Sukhmani Dental College and Hospital and Shri Guru Ram Das Institute of Dental Sciences.
It is important to highlight that Christian Dental College in Ludhiana maintains a consistent fee of INR 110,000 for both government and minority quota admissions in the BDS course.
This fee structure is expected to provide clarity to prospective medical and dental students regarding their financial commitments for the upcoming academic year.
