KNRUHS Begins Web Option Process For Mop-Up Round PG Medical Admissions Under Competent Authority Quota

KNRUHS Begins Web Option Process For Mop-Up Round PG Medical Admissions Under Competent Authority Quota

Telangana: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has begun the mop-up round web option process for PG Medical admissions for service and nonservice seats under the competent authority quota.

All the eligible non-service/service candidates whose names are displayed in the Provisional final merit list on the KNRUHS website can exercise web options as per eligibility for admission into PG Medical Degree / Diploma seats up to 04.00 PM. on 05-10-2023.

The candidates who were allotted PG seats in the previous phases of counseling and joined the course are also eligible to exercise web options and are informed to exercise web options. The candidates who were allotted seats in the previous phases of counseling and have not reported/discontinued the course at the respective college are not eligible for exercising options.

Candidates who have not exercised web options in the first phase of counseling are also not eligible to exercise web options in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.109, HM&FW(C1) Department, Dated 22-08-2022.

There is no limit to choices (number) for exercising web options, candidates can exercise web options for any number of subjects and colleges the candidate is interested in joining as per the candidate's eligibility.

Candidates must exercise web options for PG seats in all courses and colleges in which they are interested in joining, irrespective of available seats shown in the seat matrix, as vacancies will arise during the counseling process due to the sliding of candidates from allotted seats in the first phase of counseling to other seats as per their web options in the second phase of counseling and vacant unallotted service seats.

Candidates admitted up to 2nd phase have been permitted for upgradation up to the mop-up phase of counseling. The candidate is now allowed to exercise web options for the mop-up phase of counseling. They will not be allowed to participate in any further rounds of counseling after joining in the Third Round of State Quota.

One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the registered mobile at the time of saving web options. The password consists of SIX letter code with English capitals A to Z (for details, read instructions to the candidates before giving options.

Candidates must take a printout of saved options. They will receive an SMS message on their registered mobile after the allotment of seats. Candidates are also directed to check their allotment status on the portal/website.

If a PG seat is allotted in this phase of counseling as per web options exercised by the candidate in this phase of counseling, the seat allotted in previous phases of counseling will be automatically cancelled and allotted to the other candidate. Therefore, the candidates are informed to exercise web options carefully for sliding with awareness of this fact.

Competent Authority Quota seats in Minority Medical Colleges will be allotted to Muslim Minority Candidates only. Muslim Minority Candidates are also eligible for Competent Authority Quota seats in other Medical Colleges. The allotment of seats will be made in accordance with the existing Government orders (notified on the KNRUHS website) and relevant Hon'ble Supreme Court and Hon'ble High Court orders.

h Court orders. At the end of this phase of counseling for service quota seats, the leftover unallotted seats will be added to the respective categories of non-service seats, and allotment will be done for non-service candidates. Service candidates are informed that this is the final phase of counseling for Service Quota seats.

The selected candidates shall download the allotment letter from the website after payment of the University fee by payment gateway by using the Online payment method. (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking). Candidates should check their allotment details and report to the Principal of their respective college on or before the last date specified on the allotment letter.

The final verification of original certificates will be conducted at the allotted college, and in case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment will be cancelled, and action may be initiated as per University Regulations.

Selected candidates have to report at the respective colleges before the last date for joining as specified on the allotment letter, submit all original certificates and the relevant bonds and pay the tuition fee/college fee to complete the process of admission. If the candidate does not fulfil the above criteria to complete the admission process within the specified date, the admission will be cancelled automatically.

If the candidate slides to another college during the mop-up phase of counseling, the original certificates will be sent to the college concerned after the closure of admissions. Candidates have to get relieved from the previous phase, join the college, obtain a custodian certificate, collect fees and report to the allotted college before the last date of joining.

Candidates admitted up to the mop-up phase shall not be permitted to withdraw from the course.

University fee –

Allotted Candidates have to pay a University fee of Rs.29600/- by way of an online payment gateway and download the allotment letter. Candidates who have already paid university fees in the 1st phase need not pay again.

Tuition fee –

Tuition fee is to be paid at respective Medical colleges. The tuition fee payable as notified by the Government of Telangana in GO Ms No:107, 108 HM& FW(C1) Dept. Dated: 28.07.2023 (notified on the website).

Seats vacant –

556 seats are vacant for mop-up round of for PG Medical admissions for service and nonservice seats under competent authority quota. The college-wise detailed seat matrix is enclosed in the notice below.
