MCC notifies seat matrix for round 2 NEET MDS counselling 2026- 760 virtual vacancies, 460 clear, 53 newly added

New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the seat matrices for Round 2 of the NEET MDS Counselling for the academic year 2026-27.
The three seat matrices include clear vacancy seats, virtual vacancy seats and newly added seats.
The registration process will continue until September 19, 2026. Candidates can register up to 3:00 PM on September 19, according to server time. The payment facility will remain open until 6:00 PM on the same day. Meanwhile, choice filling will be available from September 16 to September 21, 2026. Candidates can submit their choices until 10:00 AM on September 21. The schedule mentioned that choice locking will begin at 6:00 PM on September 20 and remain open until 10:00 AM on September 21, 2026.
According to the seat matrix, MCC has added a total of 53 new MDS seats for Round 2. The vacancy matrices cover various MDS specialities. Below is the detailed seat matrix-

Along with the new seats, MCC has published a clear vacancy matrix for Round 2. These are seats shown as vacant for the counselling round and are spread across institutions and quotas in different states. The list also includes vacancies at government dental colleges. According to the seat matrix, a total of 460 seats are clearly vacant across the dental colleges of India. Below is the detailed seat matrix-
