NEET PG 2026 results OUT, check qualifying cutoff scores, ranks

According to the notice issued by the NBE in this regard, the final merit list/category wise merit list for State Quota seats shall be generated by the States/UT as per their qualifying/eligibility criteria, applicable guidelines/Regulations & reservation policy.

Each and every question asked in both the question papers of NEET-PG 2026 was reviewed by faculty members from the concerned specialty area after the conduct of NEET-PG 2026 to re-check for technical correctness of the questions as well as answer keys. None of the questions have been found technically incorrect.

The aggregate marks (in percentage) in all MBBS Professional Examinations/marks obtained in FMGE as provided by the candidate in his/her NEET-PG 2026 application form shall be verified against the original credentials at the time of admission by the counseling/ admitting authority.

If at any stage, candidates are found to have resorted to use of any unfair means in the exam, such candidates shall be liable for penal action as deemed appropriate by NBEMS/MCC/Counseling authority. In the event of any such candidates being declared successful in the NEET-PG 2026, the results/candidature of such candidates shall be cancelled and/or are deemed to be cancelled.

NEET-PG 2026 RANK

This is the overall merit position of the candidate amongst all the candidates who have appeared in the NEET-PG 2026. The NEET-PG 2026 rank has been arrived at on the basis of actual marks scored by the candidates in NEET-PG 2026 and applicable tie breaking criteria as mentioned in the information bulletin of NEET-PG 2026.

QUALIFYING CUT-OFF SCORE

In accordance with the minimum qualifying/eligibility criteria for admission to MD/MS/DNB/DrNB (Direct 6 Years Courses)/PG Medical Diploma Courses as mentioned in the Information Bulletin for NEET-PG 2026, the cut-off scores for various categories are as follows-

SCORECARDS

Individual scorecard of the candidates who appeared in NEET-PG 2026 can be downloaded from the NBEMS website on/after 01 October 2026. Score card shall be available for download only for a period of 6 months from the date of issuance.

Requests to provide score cards after expiry of this window shall be summarily rejected as score cards will not be hosted on NBEMS website any further beyond the window of 6 months from the date of issuance. Score cards are system generated documents and cannot be provided through post/ emails. Candidates are, accordingly, advised to preserve the score card for any future reference.

Score Cards issued to candidates shall have a mention of the MBBS/FMGE Aggregate marks as provided by the candidates in their application form wherever such aggregate marks have been used to break the tie of NEET-PG 2026 Rank.

ANSWER KEY

NBEMS shall publish the answer key of NEET-PG 2026 on its website, on/after 01 October 2026. Each candidate who has appeared in NEET-PG 2026 shall be able to access the Question ID numbers, correct answer key IDs, response IDs marked and score given for each of the questions as per the scheme of evaluation through his/her individual applicant login at NEET-PG 2026 index page at NBEMS website.

The NEET-PG 2026 examination was conducted on 30th August 2026 across the country for admission to various MD/MS/DNB/DrNB (Direct 6 Years Courses)/PG Medical Diploma Courses of 2026-27 admission session.

Due to an internal power failure at iON Digital Zone iDZ Sitapura, Jaipur (TC Codes 41682 & 41683), the scheduled candidates at the aforesaid test centres could not complete their examination. Accordingly, a re-examination of the affected candidates was conducted on 5th September 2026 at Jaipur.

A total of 263544 candidates appeared on 30th August 2026, and 2416 candidates appeared on 5th September 2026.
