PG Medical Admissions 2024: CENTAC Invites Applications for From NEET PG qualified Candidates, Know eligibility criteria, seat matrix, all details here

Puducherry- Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) has invited online applications from candidates who have qualified the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 for admission to PG Medical (MD/MS) Courses under Government/All India (Management Quota seats) for the academic year 2024-25.

The registration process for admission to PG Medical (MD/MS) Courses under Government/All India (Management Quota seats) for 2024-25 is ongoing and will end on 21st September 2024 (Saturday), 6.00 PM. The application must be submitted online only through the CENTAC official website.

On this, CENTAC has released an information brochure detailing the application fee, Steps for Filling up the Application, Documents, Fee Structure, etc for admission to PG Medical (MD/MS) Courses under Government/All India (Management Quota seats) for 2024-25.

1 Passport size photograph of the applicant (20 to 50 KB).

2 Scanned signature of the applicant (20 to 50 KB).

3 Proof of Date of Birth - Birth Certificate / High School / Higher Secondary School Certificate (100 to 500 KB).

4 UG Degree / Provisional / Course Completion Certificate (100 to 500 KB).

5 PG NEET (M.D. / M.S.) - 2024 Score Card (100 to 500 KB).

6 Transfer Certificate from the Institute last studied (100 to 500 KB).

7 Residence / Community / EWS, if applicable (100 to 500 KB).

8 Freedom Fighter / Ex-Servicemen / Persons with Disabilities / Sports Certificates, if applicable (100 to 500 KB)

9 Affidavit as per Annexure I-A should be uploaded in Rs.20/-, e-Stamp paper duly attested by the Notary for claiming Puducherry Residence.

10 Residence / Community, if applicable (100 to 500 KB).

STEPS FOR FILLING UP THE APPLICATION

1 All candidates seeking admission to PG MEDICAL (M.D. / M.S.) courses are required to apply online through the CENTAC official website.

2 After successful registration, the applicant will log in using his / her “Registered email-id” and “Password” to fill in the details in the online application form.

3 Candidate should upload scanned copies of recently renewed and self-attested documents obtained from the respective competent authorities (wherever necessary). Original certificates must be produced only at the time of admission to the respective colleges.

4 The applicant can change the details in the application form and upload files using the “Back Button” before making payment.

5 The candidate can then proceed with “Make Payment” and complete his / her application submission.

6 After payment is made, corrections, additions, deletions, etc., in any manner will not be allowed. The candidates are, therefore, advised to fill out their application, carefully.

7 Choices once exercised with regard to community / special categories are final and cannot be changed once the Final Merit List is published.

8 Candidate should comply with all the instructions while filling in the application form. Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.

9 The CENTAC disclaims any liability that may arise to a candidate(s) due to incorrect information provided by him/her in his / her online Application Form.

10 As a first-time user, the candidate shall create his / her login details as per the following steps-

i On the “New Registration” page, the candidate has to enter a valid mobile number and email. The candidate should take utmost care in providing the mobile number and email ID. Any changes/modifications will not be allowed.

ii The candidate should then create a new password for online registration purposes.

iii An OTP will be sent to the candidate's registered mobile number each time the candidate logs in to his / her dashboard.

COUNSELLING PROCESS

After publishing the final Merit List, counselling will be done as per the guidelines received from the MCC. Admission to the PG MEDICAL (M.D. / M.S.) courses is based on the PG-NEET 2024 All India Rank (AIR) for counselling. Allotment will be done through online (computer-based) counselling. There will be no mock allotment unless notified separately.

Counselling will be done in Round 1 / Round 2 / Round 3 / Stray Counselling, based on the candidate’s order of course preferences, category of seats, reservation and PG NEET (M.D. /M.S.) 2024 AIR for counselling. For allotment of Government Quota seats, vertical reservation will be implemented first, and later horizontal reservation, if any, to the extent needed.
