PGIMER to hold Round 2 Counselling of MD, MS Sponsored Candidates on July 24th, Tentative Seat Position released, details
Chandigarh- The Academic Section of the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) has released the list of tentative seat positions for the 2nd counselling of sponsored candidates for admission to MD and MS courses for the July 2024 session.
The 2nd counselling of sponsored candidates for admission to MD and MS courses for the July 2024 session will be held on July 24, 2024, at 11:00 am at Bhargava Auditorium, PGIMER.
As per the tentative seat position for the 2nd counselling of sponsored candidates for admission to MD and MS courses for the July 2024 session, a total of 13 seats are vacant in 6 specialities. However, these 13 seats are tentative and are subject to change. The detailed tentative seat positions are as follows-

INI-CET for the July 2024 session was conducted in Computer Based Testing (CBT) mode on Sunday, May 19, 2024, across all cities in India. However, the last date for admission to the courses is August 31, 2024, and the course will commence on 1st July 2024.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at 11:00 am, PGIMER conducted its first counselling/seat allotment.
Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research is a public medical university in Chandigarh, which was conceived in 1960 as a centre of excellence. It has educational, medical research, and training facilities for its students, including all specialities, super specialities, and sub-specialities. Apart from the clinical services, PGI also provides training in almost all disciplines of Medicine, including postgraduate and post-doctoral degrees, diplomas, and fellowships. Admission to post-doctoral and postgraduate courses conducted at PGIMER is made twice a year. The sessions commence in January and July. Admission to the courses is made on merit on an all-India basis.
