Seeking NEET SS admission to MCh or DrNB Neurosurgery? Check out feeder qualification

New Delhi: For the NEET SS 2025 aspirants seeking admission to MCh or DrNB Neurosurgery, MS/DNB (General Surgery), MS/DNB (Otorhinolaryngology) and MS Traumatology and Surgery, have been designated as the feeder qualifications.
MCh/DrNB Neurosurgery or Master of Chirurgiae and Doctorate of National Board in Neurosurgery, is a super-speciality level course for doctors in India that they do after completion of their postgraduate medical degree course. The duration of this super speciality course is 3 years, and it deals with the diagnosis and surgical treatment of patients with injury or diseases/disorders of the brain, spinal cord and spinal column, and peripheral nerves within all parts of the body.
As per the information bulletin released by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), the feeder qualification for MCh/DrNB Neurosurgery is MS/DNB (General Surgery), MS/DNB (Otorhinolaryngology) and MS Traumatology and Surgery, defined by the NBE and is subject to changes by the NBE.
The eligibility criteria for MS/DNB Neurosurgery are defined as the set of rules or minimum prerequisites that aspirants must meet in order to be eligible for admission, which include-

The NEET-SS 2025, scheduled to be held on December 26 and 27, 2025, serves as the gateway for admission to DM, MCh, and DrNB Super Speciality courses in medical institutions across India. On this, the online submission of the application form recently closed on 25 November 2025. Currently, the Edit Window process is going to begin, which will open from 28 to 30 November 2025. Below is the detailed schedule.
