Rajah Muthiah Medical College campus shut down indefinitely after medicos protests
Tamil Nadu: Responding to the consistent strike and protests of medical students, Annamalai University authorities have decided to close the Rajah Muthiah Institute of Medical and Dental College campus for an indefinite time.
The students of the medical institution have been protesting against the hefty medical fee charged for medical and dental courses for more than 45 days but now authorities have instructed that all the classes will remain suspended for undergraduate and postgraduate students till further notice. The authorities have also clarified that 'unauthorized stay' in either the campus or the hostel will not be entertained.
We are students from Rajah Muthiah Government Medical College, Cuddalore, Tamilnadu, India protesting against hiked fees for MBBS and BDS, UG and PG courses. Our college was completely undertaken by the government in 2013 and under the state budget 2020
