38-year-old dentist commits suicide in Kerala

Kazhakkoottam: In an unfortunate incident, a 38-year-old dentist working at a private hospital in Vattappara allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling at her residence.

According to the police, the doctor was facing difficulties in her marriage and was living separately from her husband. However, it is unclear why the doctor took such an extreme step.

The deceased was an Associate Professor at a private dental hospital in Vattappara.

As per the Kerala Kaumudi news report, the incident took place on Sunday evening. She was found hanging from the ventilation duct on the second floor of her house and the door of the room was locked from inside.

After the police were informed about the incident, they rushed to the spot. Following this, they broke the door open and rushed the doctor to the nearest hospital where the doctors declared her dead.
