Una: Controversy erupted in Mehatpur as a private eye hospital doctor was booked under Section 295A of the Indian Penal Code for his alleged remarks against a deity.
This comes as the doctor, who has been practising at his Mehatpur hospital for the last 20 years, allegedly wrote some objectionable remarks against the Hindu deity on social media.
The incident angered the concerned organizations who vehemently protested against the doctor. Although Mehatpur police have booked the doctor, the organizations have allegedly demanded immediate arrest of the doctor and cancellation of his medical licence, adds a local Daily.

Protest by the organizations further escalated on Monday as hundreds of activists gathered at the interstate barrier of Mehatpur and a protest march was taken out from that place to the doctor's private clinic.
Raising slogans against the concerned doctor, the activists demanded that the police should immediately arrest the doctor for spreading religious hatred among various sections of society.
Effigy of the doctor was burned and the protesting youth termed the remarks of the doctor as intolerable. Allegedly, the angry mob also vandalized the private hospital premises, adds Himachal Abhi Abhi.
