Following the incident, the injured doctor was rushed to MDM Hospital. Despite efforts by doctors, she succumbed to her injuries late at night due to excessive bleeding.
The woman hailed from Hindaun and worked at the Ayurveda University on contract. The university and her family were informed about the incident. According to Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Banshilal, a post-mortem was done in the morning after the family arrived, and the body was handed over to them, reports ETV Bharat.
Eyewitnesses stated that the bull’s horn had penetrated her head, leading to profuse bleeding. Though passersby acted swiftly and tried to assist her, the severity of the injury proved fatal.
This heartbreaking incident has once again raised serious questions about the stray animals roaming the city streets and the administration's negligence, reports Khaskhabar.
