The unfortunate incident took place while the doctor was returning to Madurai from Tirunelveli in his car. Meanwhile, a government bus adjacent to the doctor's vehicle damaged the car's mirror and leaving scratches on the sides.
Enraged, the doctor tried to stop the bus that was heading to Madurai from Tirunelveli. However, in an attempt to overtake the bus near the Parambupatti petrol bunk, the car lost its control and collided head-on with another government bus coming on the opposite lane.
The car was dragged up to 50 feet before stopping. The doctor died on the spot and was trapped in the rubble, reports News18
