PG Medicine student Found stabbed near Railway Track, Police Launches probe
Bengaluru: In an unfortunate incident, a 30-year-old postgraduate medical student was recently found dead near a railway track at Kasturi Nagar-Vijinpura on Monday morning.
The PG medico, hailing originally from Sultanpalya, had been pursuing his post-graduate medical education in medicine at a private medical college in Hubballi. After he returned from his home on Sunday, he was found lying next to the railway track in Baiyappanahalli Railway police station limits.
As per the latest media report by the New Indian Express, initiating a murder probe into the matter, the Police have initially found out that the miscreants had stabbed the medico in the neck and murdered him.

On Monday morning, his body was noticed by the passerby, who upon finding the body alerted the police.
Giving details regarding the case, police have told NIE, "The identity of the deceased person was established through an ID card that was found on him. His parents were informed about the incident. According to them, the PG medico had come to the city a week ago for Bakrid. On Saturday morning, he had left the house, saying he was going to Hubballi."

Police further informed the daily that while talking to his father over the phone on Sunday, the PG medico had informed about reaching Hubballi.
"One hour after the call, Ahmed's phone was switched off and it was not turned on till the night. His parents were worried as it was switched off even on Monday morning and were shocked to learn about his death, as he had told his father he had reached Hubballi. We have taken up a murder case and are probing from all angles," added the Police.
