Rajkot: Fake doctor arrested for practising medicine without degree

Jetpur: In a major crackdown, the Rajkot Rural Special Operation Group (SOG) arrested a man in Jetpur, Rajkot district, for allegedly treating patients without a valid medical degree. Acting on a tip-off, the SOG conducted a surprise raid on a dispensary in the area, where the accused was reportedly practising allopathic medicine.
According to the news reports, the accused had allegedly been treating patients using allopathic methods despite having no medical qualifications or registration. Authorities said the raid was conducted after receiving information that he was endangering lives.

SOG has detained the accused named in this case, and investigations are ongoing to determine the full extent of his malpractice.
According to The Daily, this is not an isolated case. Earlier, in Surendranagar district, police arrested an 8th-grade pass man running an illegal clinic in Dhalwana village, Limbdi taluka. Medical items and allopathic medicines worth Rs. 14,700 were seized. The arrest followed multiple complaints about fake doctors operating in rural areas.
