Gland Pharma Appoints Ajay Sahni as CEO of Singapore-Based International Subsidiary
Hyderabad: Gland Pharma Limited has appointed Ajay Sahni as the Chief Executive Officer of Gland Pharma International Pte. Ltd., its wholly owned subsidiary based in Singapore, with effect from November 2, 2026.
As part of the new leadership responsibility, Sahni will also oversee the Cenexi business, a wholly owned step-down subsidiary of Gland Pharma. He will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer of Gland Pharma Limited.
Sahni brings over 36 years of experience across the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and pharmaceutical industries, with expertise in financial management, business development and general management.
Throughout his career, he has held several senior leadership positions, including Finance Director, Project Manager – Business Development, Director of Financial Control, Planning and Analysis, Regional Finance Director for South and South-East Asia, President and Managing Director.
He has worked with several prominent organisations, including Sanofi SA, Sanofi-Synthelabo Inc., Sanofi-Synthelabo Pte. Ltd., Ferring Pharmaceuticals and Wockhardt France SAS. His professional experience also includes leadership responsibilities across subsidiaries such as Laboratoires Negma SAS, Wockhardt Bio AG and Pinewood Healthcare Ltd.
In his previous leadership assignments, Sahni served as Managing Director of Pinewood Healthcare Ltd. in Ireland and Wockhardt Bio AG in Switzerland, besides serving as President of Wockhardt France SAS and its subsidiaries. His international experience spans France, Belgium, Ireland, Switzerland, Singapore and the United States.
Sahni holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the European University of Brussels, Belgium.
