BFUHS Opens Applications for 454 Pharmacist Posts in Punjab Health Department

Faridkot: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, has commenced the online application process for the recruitment of 454 Pharmacist (Pharmacy Officer) posts under the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Punjab. Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the university's official recruitment portal within the prescribed deadline.
The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 454 vacancies for Pharmacist/Pharmacy Officer positions across the state. Interested applicants are advised to carefully review the eligibility criteria, age requirements, and application guidelines before completing the registration process.
As per the notification, candidates applying for the post must possess the prescribed pharmacy qualification recognized by the competent authority. In addition, proficiency in Punjabi has been made a mandatory requirement for applicants seeking appointment to the post.
The recruitment process is being conducted online, with the application window opening on June 11, 2026. Candidates can submit their applications until July 1, 2026, after which no applications will be accepted.
The university has also outlined the age criteria and selection procedure in the recruitment notification. Applicants are advised to ensure that they satisfy all eligibility conditions and submit accurate information while filling out the application form.
Selected candidates will be appointed as Pharmacists (Pharmacy Officers) under the Punjab Health and Family Welfare Department. The recruitment presents a significant opportunity for pharmacy graduates seeking government employment in the healthcare sector.
The Times of India reports that the recruitment notification also provides details regarding the salary structure, selection process, and other service conditions applicable to the post.
