Chandigarh: Following the demand of the resident doctors to appoint more doctors to serve in the emergency wards, the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI), Chandigarh authorities have now issued notifications to recruit senior residents on an ad hoc basis in different departments. The departments to offer vacancies for senior residents include Departments of Internal Medicine, Orthopaedics, Paediatric Gastroenterology and hepatology.
