AIIMS grants admission to NEET AIR 66 after BJP MP writes to Health Minister
Delhi: Following the letter to the Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan by KJ Alphons, former tourism minister and a BJP MP, regarding the issue of medical admission, AIIMS Delhi has now agreed to admit NEET topper Farheen KS who was previously denied admission by the institute.
She secured an all India NEET rank of 66 this year; however, she was allegedly denied admission by the AIIMS authorities over some technical ground after which she approached former tourism minister and BJP MP KJ Alphons and sought help. Following the minister's intervention, the medical aspirant has now finally secured admission in AIIMS and the authorities also accepted their mistake.
Thank you so much @drharshvardhan for your intervention in getting the MBBS admission of Farheen restored after AIIMS Delhi had rejected it on irrational grounds. Ever great full @narendramodi @AmitShah @JPNadda
