Delhi: Another Mohalla Clinic doctor tests positive for coronavirus

New Delhi - Another doctor posted at a Mohalla Clinic in Northeast Delhi has been tested positive for coronavirus (COVID 19) making the area a hotbed for the infection. New Delhi - Another doctor posted at a Mohalla Clinic in Northeast Delhi has been tested positive for coronavirus (COVID 19) making the area a hotbed for the infection. Earlier, a doctor had tested corona positive in the same area.
The doctor belonged to the clinic in Janata Mazdoor Colony in Babarpur area, according to a notice issued by Shahdara district authorities further asking patients who visited the clinic at the Janta Mazdoor Colony between March 12 and 20 to self-quarantine at home for 15 days.
"The doctor serving at the clinic in Babarpur area has got infected with COVID-19 and all the patients and other people who visited the facility between March 12-20 are supposed to quarantine themselves for two weeks," the notice said, as quoted by PTI.
If anyone shows any symptoms of coronavirus infection, they are to report to authorities, the notice added.

A few days ago, a doctor at a Mohalla Clinic in Mohanpuri area of Maujpur in northeast Delhi had contracted the disease. 4 others had also contracted coronavirus (COVID 19) after they came in contact with an infected woman who returned from Saudi Arabia. The doctor's wife and daughter had also tested positive, Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain had stated that time. The woman had visited the clinic on March 12.
Earlier, the doctor, who was admitted to GTB Hospital initially, had to be shifted to Safdarjung Hospital after he complained of breathing difficulty.
Subsequently, a total of 800 people, who had come in contact with a coronavirus positive doctor, had been quarantined for 15 days.
At least 97 cases including two deaths from coronavirus have been reported in the national capital till Monday night.
