MBBS Student Dies in Bike-Truck Collision in Jammu

Jammu and Kashmir- In a tragic road accident, an MBBS student lost his life and his brother received injuries after their bike collided with a truck in the Jagti area of Jammu district recently.
The MBBS student identified as Muneshwar Singh, a resident of Dessa, Jammu and Kashmir. As per the GreaterKashmir media news report, an official informed, that the accident happened after a collision between a bike and truck in Jagti where the student died.
Meanwhile, his brother sustained several injuries in the accident and he has been currently shifted to GMC Jammu for treatment, the official informed. After the incident, the police started an investigation, reports GreaterKashmir.
Medical Dialogues recently reported another road accident case where a young Indian MBBS medico lost her life after being hit by a speeding car in Tver, Russia. The authorities took the accused into custody.
The incident happened when she had gone out alone to buy groceries. The victim was trying to cross the road when the speeding Skoda car of the 33-year-old man hit her. She did not use the zebra crossing and tried to cross the road. Meanwhile, the in-charge of the International Students Club has urged the students to follow road safety guidelines and cross the road only where permitted.
Prior to this, another case was reported in which two doctors, including the medical superintendent of Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College and Hospital (KCGMCH), died, and three others were injured when their car collided with a Nilgai on Jind Road. The five doctors were on their way to attend a wedding in Hisar when their car, driven by a hired driver, crashed near the Bandrala bus stop.
