Madhya Pradesh- In an unfortunate incident, a nursing student lost her life while two others were seriously injured in a tragic road accident in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh on Sunday night.
The accident happened when the speeding scooty suddenly went out of control and collided with the divider. All the three victims were immediately rushed to the hospital with the help of an ambulance. However, one of them died during treatment on Monday morning, while the treatment of two others is going on. The three students were returning after praying at the church.
Meanwhile, Gandhi Nagar police have registered a case and started an investigation. On this, according to Daily Pioneer News Report, ASI Praveen Singh said that Shani Mathew was a fourth-year BSc Nursing student at Chirayu Medical College and was doing an internship.
Singh further informed that on Sunday evening, she had gone to the church on Jail Road with her friends Sandal Sona and Soril. While returning from there, their scooter collided with the divider.
However, it is not clear how the scooter lost its balance. Therefore, the police will examine the footage of CCTV cameras installed around the accident site to find out the real cause of the accident.
All three students are from Kerala. They studied together at Chirayu Medical College and lived in the hostel there. On Monday, after post-mortem in the presence of acquaintances, the bodies were handed over to the relatives.
