24-year-old Rajasthan MBBS student goes missing in Russia

Rajasthan MBBS Student Goes Missing in Russia
Jaipur: A 24-year-old medical student from Alwar district, Rajasthan, has reportedly gone missing under mysterious circumstances in Russia.
The student, Singh, a resident of Kafanwada village in the Laxmangarh area, was pursuing an MBBS degree at Bashkir State Medical University in Ufa. He has reportedly been missing since the night of October 19, sparking concern among family members and officials.
According to the news reports, he was last seen around 11 p.m. on October 19, after which his mobile phone was switched off. The next morning, his jacket, shoes, and mobile phone were found abandoned on a riverbank, raising serious concerns about his safety.

He also said that the university authorities seemed to suggest that he might have jumped into the river, though there has been no confirmation of this version. Around 10 p.m. on October 19, he had a video call with his mother and sister during which he wished them a happy Diwali. He was reportedly planning to return to India next month.
The family, who had sold their land to fund his medical education, is now desperately appealing for help. Relatives and villagers have contacted Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav, urging him to intervene and ensure swift action by Indian and Russian authorities. They have also appealed to the Alwar District Collector to coordinate with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) for help in tracing the missing student.
