Body of medical student found dead in Russia brought back to Rajasthan, family suspects murder

dead
Jaipur: The body of a 22-year-old third-year medical student from Alwar district, who was found dead in a dam near the White River in Ufa, Russia, after being missing for 19 days, has been brought back to Alwar Rajasthan,
According to The New Indian Express report, the body reached Delhi airport around 4:05 AM and was taken to Alwar District Hospital by 9 AM. There, a medical board conducted a fresh post-mortem examination.
After the post-mortem, the body was taken to Kafanwada village for cremation, where family members and locals gathered to pay their last respects.
Before the body was sent from Russia, a post-mortem had already been done there. Even though one examination was completed in Russia, the family requested another one in India.

Medical Dialogues earlier reported that the student, who was studying at Bashkir State Medical University, had been missing since October 19. The next day, his clothes and mobile phone were found on the riverbank, raising suspicion that strong currents may have swept him away.
After the cremation, the family accused both the administration and the government of negligence and alleged that the student may not have committed suicide. They indicated foul play was involved in his death. Following this, they demanded a fair investigation into how he died.
Raising suspicion regarding the circumstances of his death, the deceased student's uncle questioned several things. He asked why another student informed the family of the disappearance when the college had the family’s contact details. He also raised doubts about why the body was found without clothes, saying, "Why would someone committing suicide remove his clothes?"
He told TNIE, that the student had asked for money shortly before 19 October and had reportedly argued with another student. "We don’t believe our son committed suicide; we suspect it is murder," he said.
