RIP: Renowned Telangana gynaecologist Dr Padma passes away at 97 years
Warangal: One of Telangana's renowned gynaecologist Dr T Padma passed away at the age of 97 on Friday. Amongst many of the people who gave condolences for her demise included the state Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar also commented on the great loss and conveyed his condolences to the family of the deceased.
With a medical career that spanned a whooping 70 years, Dr T Padma was a formidable name in the field of Gynaecology and Obstetrics. Also popular in the field of medical education she was associated as a professor in Kakatiya Medical College for some years and also served as the Superintendent of the Government Maternity Hospital, Warangal.

In her glorious career of more than 7 decades, she especially received fame and recognition for treating infertility reported TNIE.
Her death was also condoled by the Telangana CM KCR

Dr Padma was extremely conscious of medical ethics. She was professional and consistent in her duties and her commitment to her work was commendable. She became an inspiration for all those medical students who want to leave their marks on the medical field. Many of the doctors and fellow workers have also expressed their grief at the death of the doctor.
Other than working on government hospitals, She also used to practice in her personal clinic and among the numerous services offered by her, she provided treatments for Uterine Fibroids or Myomas, Ovarian Cysts, Endometriosis, Pelvic Organ Prolapse, Urinary Problems, Vaginal Discharge, Subfertility, Menopause, and such problems.
Dr T Padma is survived by her two daughters and granddaughters.
