Telangana gets new nursing college
Hyderabad: Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) is all set to start the functioning of TSRTC college of nursing at Tarnaka from the year 2022-2023.
According to a press release by the TSRTC Chairman Bajireddy Goverdhan and VC& MD, VC Sajjanar, the University of Health Sciences Telangana and Nursing Council have accorded the registration and affiliation, with the academic year all set to start from this month of March, reports the Telangana Today.

The college would begin with 50 seat intake every year, out of which 30 seats are under the convenor quota and 20 seats are under the management quota. All important amenities would be provided in the college, when it starts functioning, like professional and experienced faculty, latest infrastructure, spacious classrooms, laboratories, and hospital under one roof, stated the release.
Further, Sajjanar said that the new facility would benefit students from Telangana who wish to pursue their career in the nursing profession, reports Hans India.

The Medical Dialogues team had earlier reported a similar story that a new nursing college would be established at Bir Sahib in Punjab, on the basis of the declaration made by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee chief Bibi Jagir Kaur.
