CM Yogi launches first Ayush Telemedicine Service in UP
With this new service, people of the state will now be able to get a consultation from AYUSH experts sitting at home.
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday launched the Ayush Telemedicine Service, making UP the first state to launch a statewide telemedicine service. With this new service, people of the state will now be able to get a consultation from AYUSH experts sitting at home.
In the first phase, 384 dispensaries of 16 districts of the state including Gorakhpur, Ayodhya, Lucknow are attached to this telemedicine service. Any person can avail this service by registering on the website https://ayushup-telemedicine.in/ or the Ayush Kavach-Covid app.

After the registration process, the patient will have to make an appointment and then the consultation will be done by experts through video conferencing/teleconferencing at the given time. Also, people who are not so tech-savvy can go to the near AYUSH hospital and get consulted.
In the programme, Minister of the Department of AYUSH, Dharam Singh Saini said, "The innovative efforts of Ayush Kadha and Aayush Kavach-Covid during the COVID pandemic protected the lives of crores of people. Now the appointment of 1065 physicians, Ayush Telemedicine Service and Yoga and Wellness Center will help in providing timely, comfortable quality medical care to the people of Uttar Pradesh.
It is worth mentioning that the programme was attended by ACS of AYUSH Department Prashant Trivedi, Special Secretary Rajkamal Yadav, Chief Minister's Secretary Alok Kumar, Special Secretary Surendra Singh, and other officials.
